The only church in Cyprus dedicated to this Saint, whose foundation is associated with the arrival and installation in residents from Myra in Lycia , which was home of the Saint. St. Nicander was a bishop of Myra in Lycia. The contemporary church is a small vaulted church aisle, with a central dome , which followed the architectural style of the occupied chapel of St. James in Trikomo . A ruined ancient aqueduct is found next to the church. It is celebrated on Nov. 4 , the feast of St. Nikandros on October 23 , the feast of St. James the Apostle Brother , and on the 4th December , the feast of St. Barbara .
