It is located within walking distance from the church of the Transfiguration. It dates from the 16th century and is a small single church , Franco rate . Much of the temple has been destroyed, along with many frescoes dating to the late 16th century . To the northwest of the chapel banners of the founder are displayed , a standing lion and a fish . According to tradition, the buds of individual saints have removed maliciously, two Turks who lived in Sotira. Three important icons have survived in the chape, which date from the 18th century . These icons are the Christ, the Virgin Mary and St. Mamas. Every year the memory of Saint Mamas is celebrated in small feast on September the 2nd.
