A special tradition is associated with the construction of the chapel. In the area where the church of Saints Peter and Paul was erected, it used to be a small church dedicated to St. Mauri. Every year on the feast day of Saints Peter and Paul on the 29th of June, a very strong wind was blowing. Residents of the area associated this fact with the anger and protest of the St. Mauri, because the great temple had replaced the chapel, which was dedicated to her. For this reason, believers decided to appease the anger of the Saint and built in the courtyard of the great church, a chapel , dedicated to St. Mayri, which is celebrated on the 3rd of May .
