The chapel is situated in the centre of Pedhoulas, to the south of the church of Proodos Timiou Stavrou, and probably dates to the 13th century. It belongs to the single-aisle, barrel-vaulted type of church, featuring a particularly high arch in the sanctuary. The church has been modified through later renovations. Important icons of the 13th century have their provenance in this church, such as the one of Ayios Onoufrios the Egyptian in supplication, and of the Assumption containing scenes from the Divine Passion, all of them exhibited at the Pedoulas Byzantine Museum. Ayios Onoufrios is commemorated on 12 June.
