CTO beach is in Pyla area, beside Dhekelia road and near the centre of Larnaca. Its calm and shallow waters in combination with the amenities and facilities of the surrounding area makes this beach a perfect choice especially for families. The amenities include sunbeds with umbrellas, WC’s, showers, changing rooms. Sport activities are provided for children and adults like playground, volleyball courts, tennis courts and water sports. Tennis tournaments are organized through summer season.
Between the months of June to October the beach has an on-duty lifeguard and first aid facilities. Access to the beach is quite easy, on foot, bus, car, motorcycle or bike and a parking place is available. The beach is indicated for people with disabilities.
The surrounding area has many facilities including accommodation, restaurants, coffee shops and kiosks.
