Saint Anastasios church is in the south east of Frenaros village. It was built in 2003 at the same place of an old church. It is a small one-aisled church and can host around 80 people. Outside is decorated with stone and inside has a very simple iconostasis with modern byzantine style icons. It has wall paintings of the orthodox saints and representations of the New Testament.
The church celebrates Saint Anastasios every year on the 17th September.
